ContourMed’s patented process creates the most aesthetic, anatomically accurate breast prosthesis available in the market today. By integrating the most technologically advanced equipment- laser generated 3-D images of the surgical site and the natural breast shape, a breast can be non-surgically reconstructed. Utilizing color matching of the skin, nipple, and areola along with nipple size and shape, ContourMed painstakingly handcrafts each individualized custom breast prostheses.

ContourMed has chosen the OMEGA Scanner, a part of the OMEGA Tracer system from Ohio Willow Wood, as the most technologically advanced shape capture tool for the scanning process. ContourMed custom breast software has been developed and is used as a part of both the shape capturing and the manufacturing processes. The image is quickly and precisely captured then sent to our Corporate Headquarters through a secure web portal to begin the manufacturing process.

All OMEGA Tracer system users of Ohio Willow Wood now have the option to utilize the custom breast module as an added service to their clients. Following completion of the ContourMed training course and subsequent scans, these users become ContourMed Prosthesis Providers. A stand alone ContourMed Scanner package, which includes a handheld scanner, computer and ContourMed custom software, is now available for purchase or lease by all ContourMed providers.
